Hello everyone here I am again with an aircraft in 1 / 72. To be precise, a Heinkel He.111H-6 belonging to the 2nd Staffel of I / KG 26, based in Sardinia, to Ottana in August 1943. The He.111 was a twin engine medium bomber operating in the German Luftwaffe, making its appearance in the English Civil War and then became (along with the Junkers Ju.88) the aircraft of choice for the bombing fast. Was used on virtually all fronts during World War II ^, in the Mediterranean, Aegean, Russia, Western Europe, not to mention the numerous incursions into British territory during the famous "Battle of Britain". It was a long time since I was a twin engine, and tried to make an airplane with a camouflage livery a bit 'out of the ordinary or slightly better view, since the He.111 employed mainly in three color tones continental (ie RLM70, and RLM71 RLM65). So I chose a sand color with dark green spots (RLM79 RLM71 for the sand and the dark green). As your kit I used the old prints of Italy, and with all faults, which involved the boxes at the time, especially with regard to the panels of the fuselage and wings are all positive. So as a first step, I had reincidere all panels (a pretty big job ... especially annoying). I then took the pilot seat of a car built with the added instrumentation, safety belts etc..
I rebuilt the fuselage in the basement until the middle of the fuselage by adding a second door behind the dorsal turret (to delimit the bomb bay), I added a few ribs and other small details. As I closed the compartment truck engine nacelles for the return of the trucks plasticard very end. I removed the flap and then lowered position (as seen in many photos of that), the rudder slightly to the left, while the flap of the tail are slightly raised. I wanted to play in over the aircraft with the cockpit open so I removed (with moderate difficulty), the top of the glazing of the cockpit. Assembled I colored it all in white (Lifecolor LC01) the end of the fuselage, the outer parts of the fuselage and the lower part of the Notre bonnets. Then I masked the whole thing and I moved to the bottom in dipintura RLM65 (Color Gunze H314). Then I moved to the top with sand RLM79 (Color Gunze H66 diluted with a little 'white always the Gunze). I gave it a second pass of filling the panels with H66 slightly lightened the first hand, giving a little 'depth at all. Then I switched to green RLM71 (Gunze H303, this soiled with a slight touch of white), creating the irregular spots on the aircraft. The next step I made mention of aging (the then takes up a finished airplane), then a coat of clear gloss (again Gunze). I applied the decals (many were ruined by time, so I had to recover some of the swastika and the cross from Aeromaster sheet). Other light aging along the panels and a first coat of clear finish. Other slight aging and final coat of clear matt (the Gunze).
Overall the plane is nice in the assembly, although there are some problems with the junction between the wings and fuselage to be filled with putty or with cyano acrylic . Another problem the ho riscontrato nel posizionare le vetrature del posto di pilotaggio che non combaciavano bene e quindi non รจ perfettamente lineare come dovrebbe. Ottime sono le mitragliatrici da 7.5 e 12.7 mm molto ben definite con i caricatori a parte.
