Quasi tutti i reparti da caccia italiani riceveranno Mc.202 the Thunderbolt, working on all fronts Italians. The only weak point was made by the owner of the Italian fighter offensive, with two machine guns on the nose, which then (from the series ^ VII) were added two other weapons wing 7.7 mm (though still low compared to the aircraft German, English and U.S.). Supermodel
model in 1 / 72 for many years was the only one available in the market (there was also the FROG, but practically impossible to find). Today (fortunately) we have several companies that deal with the Italian fighter (Hasegawa, Italy and so on.), And as the aircraft had many typographical errors. The fuselage has a passenger compartment too far forward, the back anticapottatura è da ridimensionare, come bisogna ridimensionare pure l’attacco dell’antenna tripolare. Come sempre si inizia dall’abitacolo detail a bit '(you rebuild the floor, seat, side walls ... the works). As changes to the fuselage and I have not even made the wings. I still had to wipe all the panels reincidendole. After assembly and the appropriate filler and cartegiature, I went to the color of the model. I have tried to realize the two models (along with two of Hasegawa to see the differences between the two houses), which is very distracting. Anyway I finally made a Mc.202 85 Squadron, 18 Squadron / 3rd Wing and a plane of 153 ° Gruppo Autonomo. Both aircraft have them painted with LIFECOLOR, using the lower part of a Grey Light Blue 1 (UA 113), while the top with a light brown 4 (UA 112). Positions are passed to the realization of a pattern of spots in green camouflage 2 (UA 008) to make the aircraft of 85 Squadron, while also in camouflage green 2 (UA 008) but one reason for the amoeba to the 153 Squadron aircraft. Both aircraft have the central white band in Snow White in LC 01. After a coat of transparent Gunze S. (H 30), then the placement of decals. As for the Supermodel of the kit decals, as those to be transferred, after a couple of coats of arms I have practically thrown away. Maybe too old but they were almost all ruined. For the aircraft of 18 Squadron 85 Squadron / 3 ° Stormo CT, The airplane with the words "Geppo" I used those of Tauromodels n.72-521, while the second aircraft, the commander of the 153 ° Gruppo Autonomo CT, I used those of the Hasegawa kit. New coat of clear gloss H 30, and then aging with chalk, while the panels I used the matte black of the Model Master diluitissimo. Finally a coat of clear finish. Although for a long time was the top supermodel for Mc.202 Folgore Macchi, to date there are models much more "easy" to assemble, especially with regard to negative and panels in finer detail. Anyone who still has boxes of this model (like me), then "fun".
